ABOUT


My name is Michelle Taylor Greene, and I'm a creative artist based in Los Angeles, CA. I created this site as a way to share my creative work, projects, passions, and inspirations. I'm proud to say that I'm a self-taught photographer & web designer who also dabbles in music, writing, and spoken word. I first picked up the camera in August 2008 and haven't been able to put it down since. I'm definitely a Canon girl who loves shooting with natural light. Though I shoot everything, I tend to lean more towards portrait & fashion photography. Before I was learning about aperture and f-stops, I was learning about html tags. Back in 2000, my curiousity of web designing got the best of me so I taught myself html which led to designing web pages to entire websites. Currently, I've been enjoying customizing websites & blogs. I figured the best way to highlight my skills was to demonstrate what I can do via my own website & blog which are actual Tumblr themes I customized. Customizations:
To create a clean, seamless site, I used the same theme for both website & blog but altered some code to make blog a vertical & endless scroll, shifted sidebar to right, created photography galleries, removed permalinks, removed the "follow" & "dashboard" buttons, added a no-right click code, a drop-down menu, an "Ask" box, a logo to sidebar, a facebook "like" button, a search box on blog, a "back to top" button on blog, tags, date, & comments (Disqus) on blog posts, social network icons, Google Analytics, lightbox code, and configured to use my own domain & sub-domain names.
